Twigs Kid’s Ministry

For Your Children

Our Twigs ministry uses a chronological, Christ-centered curriculum. Our preschool classes use A Sure Foundation curriculum from Truth78: and our elementary age classes use The Gospel Story for Kids from New Growth Press. Over the course of three years, our kids are journeying through the story of the whole Bible and discovering how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout the entirety of Scripture.

  • About Our Program

    Our children’s ministry, known as Twigs, is divided into 3 classes: Pips & Sprouts (6 weeks – PreK), Pods (K-3rd Grade), and Buds (4th - 8th grade). Pips, Sprouts, and Pods classes meet weekly on Sundays and Buds class meets on the first & third Sundays of each month.

  • Check in/out Process

    Parents are asked to check their child in each Sunday at the designated sign in table. You can't miss it as soon as you walk into the building! Pips and Sprouts may head to their classrooms to meet their teachers or join the worship service until the children are dismissed. The Pods & Buds classes, accompanied by their teachers, participates in opening worship with the whole church, and return to class after a time of praising God together through singing. Parents can return to the classroom to pick up their child, showing the teacher the number assigned at check-in. We text parents if they are needed in the child’s classroom before dismissal (or we will personally find you if texting is not your preference).

  • Programming

    Our team leads our children in this Bible study through many mediums – song, stories, activities, snacks, games, media, play, and more.

  • Safety

    Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance. We train our classroom leaders and volunteers, implement safety procedures and run background checks in order to provide a safe place for your children. Parents are always welcome in class.

Every Sunday:

Pips & Sprouts: 6 weeks - Pre-K

Pods: K - 2nd Grade

First & Third Sunday of the Month:

Buds: 3rd - 8th Grade

We are always looking for passionate men and women to serve alongside us as we love on the children at our church! If you are interested in helping in any way with our children's ministry, please complete our volunteer form. We ask members of the Twigs Team to commit to serving 1 Sunday a month.
